Title: Thankyou Mr Sainsbury
Post by: Fred Elliot on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 16:18:31
So, my favourite pre boarding the train tipple at Paddington is this

http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/FredElliot_2006/290.jpg

Two pints of this on an empty stomach works wonders, believe me

Have been trying to find it in Swindon, but being as Fullers is a London brewery, it is like rocking horse shit out in the cuntry.

However, look what I found tonight in my now favouritest supermarket in the world.

http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/FredElliot_2006/291.jpg

And the bottled version is 5.9 %

Oh dear...................oh dear, oh dear, oh dear !

 :beers:

Fred, the Check Inn in Wroughton is now a Fullers pub, don't know if they sell that gut-wrenching stuff though.  My mate used to be a regular in there until Fullers took over, beer went up by about £1 a pint!

Very True, Those cunts took away my Bitburger , Amstel and Urdinger :x They must have lost about 70% of their business. Dougie took care of his customers.

Alcohol in general is cheap over here (fags are as well but I don't smoke). I usually buy this Portuguese beer called Sagres (5.1%). You can get a pack of 6 bottles for the equivalent of about £1.20-£1.40.

I've been on the look out for a Spanish lager brewed in the Canaries called Dorada.

It's like San Miguel, but better. No English supermarkets seem to stock it though  :x

Ralph, I've found out you can order it directly from the brewery in Tenerife. Minumum order is ten pallettes, 60 crates per pallette.

So, 600 crates split between the two of us. Fancy it?

Shipping will cost a fortune.  :D

Title: Thankyou Mr Sainsbury
Post by: axs on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 22:43:53
container ship, £800ish, depends how much a crate is and how quick you want it. and who has the facility to unload a 40' container at their house.

Title: Thankyou Mr Sainsbury
Post by: Ralphy on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 22:46:17
You wouldn't unload the container at your house would you numb nuts  :D

You get a haulage company to pick the 10 palettes up at the docks and drive to your house.  :D

Sam lets do it. How much is 600 crates of Dorada?

Title: Thankyou Mr Sainsbury
Post by: axs on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 22:51:19
i'm going to open a bottle of wine.

my fork lifts broken so i can't unload pallets either.

Title: Thankyou Mr Sainsbury
Post by: Ralphy on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 23:06:33
Your just creating problems!!!!

You don't need a forklift! You get a haulage company that has a tail lift on their lorries!

Title: Thankyou Mr Sainsbury

Somebody on this thread mentioned about enjoying Bitburger. Well tomorrow I am off on the 50km jolly to Bitberg where they brew said beer. Apparently there is some kind of festival and they have beer fountains, good food, live music and dancing etc. Should be good! :beers:
