inspired by a feature on gideon coe's show on 6music, pick a song from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. you can pick something from the 00s when we get to 2010.

1960s: 'Kitch, You So Sweet' by Lord Kitchener
1970s: 'From The Morning' by Nick Drake
1980s: 'Circles' by Dag Nasty
1990s: 'Waiting for the Winter' by The Popguns

not sure about jimi or jacko, but good stuff. 'things behind the sun' must be one of the most emotional songs i've ever heard.

Yeah he's a great musician that Drake fellow. I read a biography on him a few years back. Devastating his demise.

Oh and Jimi and Jacko? Whether you like them or not. Two of the greats in music. A known fact. Hendrix made a guitar sound like no one ever had, so much soul in his playing. Jacko is just fucking genius. People tend to concentrate on the kiddy fiddling antics nowadays and forget how good his music was. Not given the title of 'The King Of Pop' for no reason y'know.

Dry The Rain!? Yes! I forgot all about the brilliance of the 3 ep's. I'm putting it on right now
