Right guys, I have spoken to Macca and we are entering 2 teams. Just to remind you the date is Sunday July 1st and we will be meeting at around 9.30-10.00am. I will sort out actual meeting places and times and what you need to bring etc closer to the event. I presume it will last most of the day so make sure you are free all day.

Each team costs £35 to enter so £5 per player, if you can pm me to let me know how you are going to pay this as we need to pay in advance. It would also help if you could pm me your mobile number should i need to contact any of you on the day. Sending me it now just makes things easier as not everyone comes on here every day.

A further couple of things to think about are kits. Do we want to wear a proper kit borrowed from someone (if we can get one) or should we go with swindon shirts? And what about team names, any sensible ideas?

Cheers mate, I also have family out there and love the place.  Will probably do the normal attractions CN Tower, Niagra Falls and Wonderland (Canada's answer to Alton Towers).  Will see if any of there sports teams are playing as well have seen Bluejays, Mapleleafs and Raptors before and they were all quality to watch, plus of course now they have a footy team managed by Mo Johnstone so may look into that.  Anyway way off subject good luck with the training lads, I will join up once I am back.

On Toronto, the baseball is ace just dont look down from the tower.  I recommend taking time to have a break in teh lakes, 7 mile lake espceially is stunning.

For those that haven't played at the Oasis before it's outdoors on astro turf /weston beach sand, which will knacker you legs when those dirty hacking dark tops can't cope with our superior skill and pace:

There are changing rooms/showers there if you want to use them,  'downstairs'  near the pool entrance.

The pitches are round to the left of the main entrance, you can drive your car round there and park near them. You can normally get to the changing rooms from the football pitch side of the oasis, assuming they leave the door open.
