Can i be the first to heap praise on Mr Peacock, i loved every minute reading what he said in the adver today, the board are extremely under pressure now from the fans and players and maybe even sturrock to say no to the groundshare, saying yes could really be the final nail in the coffin for them.

It is great to see the reporter Andy Cryer producing these articles recently which is putting the board under severe pressure, I for one applaud him.

The board have everyone against them regarding the groundshare, surely now they cannot say yes, I'm just wondering whether they will punish peacock for saying those things, i sincerely hope not but nothing would surprise me with this board.

Let's keep the pressure on them, let's make them get very nervous, i bet they have brown pants right now, i would love to see their faces after they have read the adver soapy tit wank.

Doing a lot of reading between the lines here, but it seems that the power that the board thought they had is deserting them. Sturrocks comments before he fucked off on his holiday were one thing, but Peak's comments on the groundshare indicate that the cunts are now well and truly on the run.

We feel it is our duty to bring to the attention of the general public that Sir Seton Wills had a cheese sandwich for lunch. More worrying news is that his favorite cheese is in fact Stilton not Edam as was widely reported.

The events of the last 24 hours have led to supporters questioning whether cheese is the way forward and whether or not they can support a man who loves Stilton as it appears a most worrying decision to make.

A spokesman from TrustSTFC commented that this is a concerning revelation that could have an impact on the future of cheese in Swindon. The Trust is making one last plea for Sir Seton to change his favorite cheese to try and stablise the cheese levels in Swindon

A spokesman from the club was unavailable for comment, they were believed to be in the dairy isle at Morrisons.

Follow-up statement from the club

Following the rather misleading comments regarding Sir Seton Wills' fovorite cheese on the townend.com the board of Swindon Town Football Club would like to make the following comment.

Contrary to reports on the townend.com stilton is not Sir Seton Wills favorite cheese. In fact cheese does not exist and the idea that cheese exists and can be eaten is fatally flawed.
 
At no time has cheese ever existed and we would prefer that the townend.com would contact the club prior to any further reports.

i think i now have a higher regard for SSW for preferring stilton over edam.

Bill Power has always stated that his favourite cheese is Stilton. I even rang him up. More people should get drunk at trust meetings.

Stilton is a good cheese for a club director, would be worried if he liked swiss roule or something.

I would prefer you release a statement.....and within it can you reassure us of your position regarding cheese.

I've heard a rumour from my sauces that Sturrock is worrying about a lack of cheese in his office that could harm his ability to attract players.  Whisky without the cheese is not an attractive proposition for any player even at our level.

The TEF would like to reiterate it's continuous support for all varieties of cheese. Especially Stilton.... and room temperature Brie.... and any super mature chedder.... in fact all of them... even processed cheese slices for when you want to feel dirty and used.

I agree, proper plastic cheese has it's place in those fold out wrapper slices. As I previously stated, however much I love real cheese, those things are like a dirty pleasure.

I think that everyone is possibly missing the point that even with Sturrock on holiday, surely he would have sanctioned that from Peacs ?

He seems to have quite a firm grip on when an what the players discuss in the media.
