Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: stfctownenda on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:11:15 Right obviously a depressing weekend coming up with it being the last in the domestic football calendar bar pointless internationals. So who does everyone think will win the play offs?
Derby vs West Brom - I am going to go with Derby they have had a fantastic season and think they will have enough to just get over the line. Blackpool vs Yeovil - Think with Blackpool being the form team and looking unstoppable you would have to fancy them to win although as the Forest game showed Yeovil are capable of a shock, expect Blackpool to do it though. Rovers vs Shrewsbury - Again on form there is only one winner Rovers should really do it. But with 40,000 fans there and being an odds on favourite, will they crack only time will tell. Would love to see Shrews cause an upset and see Rovers crying at wembley but sadly think Rovers will be too strong. Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: herthab on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:12:32 West Brom.
Blackpool. Wovers. Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: Arriba on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:16:06 westbrom, yeovil, rovers
Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: jimmy cider on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:16:54 I think Wba will win Blackpool for lge1 and sorry to say rovers lge2 I hope this happens because i have them on an acumilator and i will £££s in :D
Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: mattboyslim on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:16:59 Form suggests a West Country double, I think Rovers may crack, but have an inkling Yeovil might sneak it. As for Derby V West Brom, probably fancy the Baggies, but either for immediate relgation next season.
Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: Sippo on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:23:01 Shrewsbury to beat rovers. Strong at the back. They'll nick a goal. 1 nil in the 83rd min.

Although Rovers won't be gifted as many goals as Lincoln's defence gave them. Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: yeo on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:29:31 Brom
Yeovil Rovers Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:34:16 West Brom appear to have loads of goals in them, Derby also free scoring, therefore 0-0  . I would just go for West Brom
I would like to see a Yeovil loss as it is a good away day, but I not convinced that Blackpool will have enough to beat them. Blackpool edge it You would expect Brizzle to beat Shrewbury, and they probably will, but I will go from Shrewsbury. West Brom, Blackpool, Shrewsbury Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: land_of_bo on Friday, May 25, 2007, 13:35:21 Derby, Blackpool, Shrewsbury.

If Rovers lose, can see a groundshare. Shrewsbury took care of Franchise and deserve it, Rovers are due a poor game. Otherwise, it's Blackpool and Derby. Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: Crozzer on Sunday, May 27, 2007, 14:37:37 Quote from: "sam_stfc" Damn Igoe getting the last goal :x A bitter pill indeed, of all the great professionals that have graced the Beautiful Game who have never scored at Wembley and Frankenstein's Little Brother is on the score sheet with the opposing goalkeeper up for a corner at the other end. You have to take the highs and lows, and this was certainly a low point in the history of football. I always think of them as a pub team. Yep I think he will, and he has near enough admitted it Saw him on the pitch with his suit on, not even a place on the bench That'll learn him I went to the game today and it was a good occasion and quite an entertaining game. The standard of football was nothing special although Blackpool did put some good moves together - judging purely on today's game, going back up to League 1 won't be too much of a step. Blackpool will now have to buy in some players though. I can see Parker being made to look very average in the CCC, and their defence seems prone to the odd Swindon-esque lapse. Title: Playoff Finals - Who will win Post by: Crozzer on Monday, May 28, 2007, 16:21:11 Perry didn't think so.
86 min: Perry, missing his front teeth, claims he has been elbowed by Howard but referee Poll doesn't seem to have seen the incident well enough to give his verdict so play continues. |
