You know, looking at that, it isn't actually that far to drive to Saturday home games. Would need to leave on Friday after work and go home early on Sunday mornings, but that is doable I think!

Well I am planning to drive over to visit my old man at some point so maybe not every home game, but 1 in 4 or something!

I recall some years back when living on the South Coast, driving up to Newcastle, for some random reason, I wondered about the equivalent journey travelling south, assuming no water,  it was Luxembourg.  So now with the tunnel, its a trek, but not that ludicrous.

I suppose in some respects it isn't much different from me driving from Edinburgh to Swindon.

I drove back from Ancona, Italy to see the Hereford home game. 1,840km in a Peugout 106 only to witness a 2-1 loss.

(I didn't drive back JUST for the game, but I was moving back an happened to get back on the Friday  before the game)

Start off 12 miles north of Brighton, via a village near Abingdon, then back down the a420. Fucked if I can work it out. 2 and 3/4hrs?

EDIT: Ooops. Don't know what it is in actual miles.

Appox 200 mile round-trip. Standard SE London stuff. Always stop at Membury for a major chocolate hit en-route. By the time I hit the CG, I'm sugar rushing my tit's off. That's the closest I get to being p1ssed-up on matchday. I'm sure my good citizenship will go down well with the Wiltshire Constabularly!

About 15 miles I think! Never measured it properly but can't be far off!

Next season I will be either in London or Reading though....probably London. So home games will be restricted yet again but hopefully I'll catch a few away ones out that way too to balance it out a bit!

All the f'ing way from the Isle of Man.  Have to get a ferry etc, then either a train down or, if I have my car, a f'ing long journey through the night from Heysham port!!
