preacher is genius. i read somewhere that they were going to make a film of it, but are now making a tv series instead. hopefully they'll leave it well alone, but the success of sin city probably means it's only a matter of time.

it's been a rumour for many a year...i hope they don't...the comic is compelling enough!

for as long as i can remember watchmen has been up for the hollywood treatment too, but i think that's un-filmable.

it's all up for it now...there are comics being made that are in the style of films (characters made to look like well known actors...see "new universal") already and are clearly sitting there waiting to be made into them

fortunately i don't watch tv or many films so the ideas will bypass me
