Post by: Samdy Gray on Friday, May 18, 2007, 23:36:50
Make a mega mix-tape (cd) of indie/rock anthems.

I've got a few good ones so far:

Arctic Monkeys - I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor
Bloc Party - Banquet
Manic Street Preachers - A Design For Life
The Verve - Drugs Don't Work
Supergrass - Alright
Supergrass - Moving
Supergrass - Sun Hits The Sky
Weezer - Buddy Holly
Sonic Youth - Bull In The Heather
The Smiths - The Charming Man
Queens Of The Stone Age - No One Knows
Hundred Reasons - If I Could

and loads more

A nice bit of the Stone Roses or the La's would enhance.

Not really an indie/rock anthem, but Mungo Jerry is a must for any Summer compilation

Is it? I never went as far as downloading it yet alone buying it. That tune though used to be a breath of fresh air in student clubs at the time. The video was pretty ace too.
