We normally have pictures of it on the official site by April time.

emailed Lambert about it a few days back, he said theres no release date for the kits yet, also says the sponsor issue should be cleared up in a couple of weeks, ditto a proper kit preview. woop

I've got my £30 ready (bet the bastards will put it up to £32.99!)

but I'm not buying until someone more happens on the board/consortium front...

I'm not going away this year so i wont be buying the shirt, i wouldn't anyway until those Cunts in charge have fooked off.

I called the shop yesterday: away shirt by june, home shirt by july I think they said. They missed a trick not selling it at the walsall game, would have shifted hundreds IMO.

They could have handed fans a pile of stickers so you could create your own sponsor, would have kept the kids quiet for a few hours.

Tbh, there's not many lower league teams with a National Company as sponsor.

Northampton have lost Nationwide as well and they'll be sponsored by a local Estate Agents!

Agreed it's probably not as lucrative as Nationwide, but I wouldn't have thought there was any large companies willing to spend large amounts sponsoring a 3rd division club. What division were we in when Nationwide first became involved?

To be honest it's funny but i couldn't give 2 shits about that tin pot Club, we haven't played them for so long they've kind of become irrelevant(sp).

I guess shouldn't be about *who* the sponsor is, more about how good the deal is in comparison to other league 1 clubs.

I don't know the answer to that mind, and yes I agree a 'prestige' sponsor somehow does seem a lot better than yocal backing.

It's a fair point though that not many teams at this level have a big name sponsor.

Bristol City were (dare i say it) one of the bigger clubs in this division last year, and they had Bristol Trade Centre on their shirts

No we wore it against Palace in the pre season friendly for the first time.

We did that twice... 02/03 when we wore the kit from the play off season on the final day and 03/04, when we wore the 04/05 strip for the last game and the two playoff games.

Those were the only times we've done it.

We wore our Premiership kit in the '93 Playoff Final, if i recall?

I would imagine that we were contracted to have Nationwide and Lonsdale on our shirts for every game of the season just gone, so therefore couldn't have worn a new shirt...

It was ace looking in design - nice and simple with white shorts.  However it was nearly pink, and was the worst made kit ever.

The away kit that season was top, my favourite one we've ever had. We've still got two massive lotto Swindon coats at home from that season aswell.

Looked like a fake you buy off the market.

I liked the away kit, apart from the collar.
