Would some one who was there please be so kind as to give us a bit of a run down on last night's events? I imagine a lot of it will be a bit hazy for a number of people but I am sure through the miracle of the interweb we can piece it all together.

It certainly looks like it was a good do and sounds like it got a bit 'messy' to use the current terminology.

I'm fed up seeing little snippets about missing DJ's and certain ex-players wives being 'slightly colouful'.

The highlight of the evening was for me:-

Barry Corr got up on stage, coaxed a few players up to play the drums and had the microphone.  Brez got on the electric guitar and gave a song which was ace, proper talented bloke.

Not half as fed up with the poor fucker thats hired it and has now lost it and going to be faced with a 200 quid bill tomorrow when he tries to take it back OST

It was a good night. Felt a little awkward at the start, felt out of place. A lot exec people there. Saw Mike D and Sturrock talking about next season. Some of the players were friendly and took lots of pictures. Christian Roberts was a moody bastard tho. Loads of drink consumed.

Oh and my mrs heard roberts wife break wind in the loos.  :mrgreen:

Ady Williams got up and gave a little speech, really like that guy, model pro by the looks and speaks well.  Will make a manger some time soon.

I think sunday was a kandifunk night  - kinda funky house, I got in for free (walked straigh in the double doors as the bouncers were dealing with a fight) but it's normally £7, I really don't like it - it's very much a place to be seen in IMHO - probably why the STFC squad use it as their local.  Often they play RnB which I hate, and on sunday I don't really remeber the music - so it probably wasn't too offensive. Drinks are steep - nothing less than £3, a bottle of arkells was £3.80, and I guess lager is similarly priced.  Not as rough as most of town but not as nice as old town.

I'll stick to Longs and Mckenzies on saturday i think.

I let him borrow my phone around 1am to call Sadie, poor lad was tired and emotional, and missing his beau! He trots off to make the call outside and that's the last i see of him.

What transpired after that, unbeknownst to me until today, was that Tails was found by some girl called Cara at 3am, led in the gutter somewhere near Apartments. This girl takes pity on the poor lad, takes what she thinks is his phone and calls "home". My parents are woken by this girl telling them that their son is lying in the gutter some 30 miles from home. Naturally, they shit themselves.

They left about 6am, only having a vague idea of where i could be, luckily managing to track me down, about 10, at Ash's gaff, looking relieved, if a little tired/pissed off!

Needless to say, Tails has no idea what happened to said phone. What a lad

fuckin' hell!!
