Not done/played much at Norwich so I think you're right saying the Championship clubs won't be after him. I'd like to see him back; give him a trial anyway. barry corr + stephen mcphee (for example) would be awesome in league 1 or 2, and combined wages wouldn't be much more than what thorne would want. I've always liked the look of the other lad McVeigh they've released with him. Scored a peach at T'Burnley on loan earlier on in the season and still got a shelf life of a couple of years. Doesn’t fit the Sturrock mould for a forward but I’ve seen him in midfield a few times causing merry hell. That said I’d wager he’ll be Chumpship bound on a fair old whack of cash. I'd rather someone getting 1 every other.
