Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: Tails on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 21:52:26 Everyone is talking of Franchise beating Accrington as a foregone conclusion.
I know Accy have nothing to play for, but they knocked 3 past MK earlier in the season and were cruelly denied a point at Walsall a few weeks ago. There is no pressure on them at all and the Franchise HAVE to win. Football works in strange ways, and suddenly a lot of Franchise supporters are talking of their promotion as a certainty... Anyone for a shock draw? Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: yeo on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 21:53:38 Who knows Tails..
Maybe they will maybe they wont.. Either way im preparing a Sturrock out banner. Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: Compo on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 21:54:01 Hope you are right!
Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: Ralphy on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 21:54:05 Dons need to win and also need to bang alot of goals in.
This will expose them at the back i feel and Accy could do us a favour. Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: DV on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 21:55:02 no.
Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: flammableBen on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 22:09:08 Accy are going to get trounced by lot's of goals. MK are a better team and have something to play for. Not rocket science.

However I think franchise not winning on Saturday is a pretty big leap.
Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: adje on Monday, April 30, 2007, 08:04:58 They will surprise us for 89 minutes then the jammy fuckers will score the winner.....and we'll lose.I just know it
Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: Batch on Monday, April 30, 2007, 08:28:03 We have to assume that Franchise will get the goals they need.
It is in our hands and we can beat Walsall if we don't bottle it. We did it at there place and we will do it at ours. We will fight them on the beaches....Ask not what your players can do for you but what you can do for your players. Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: Lumps on Monday, April 30, 2007, 08:40:42 Surely even if the Dons win and we lose it'll still come down to goal difference?
And it's worth bearing in mind that Stanley have got one of the best goal scoring records in the division. Even if the Dons do beat them I doubt they'll do it by more than a goal or two. As long as we don't get stuffed we should be OK Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: STFC Bart on Monday, April 30, 2007, 08:49:00 If we blow it-Sturrock out

Title: Will Accrington surprise us? Post by: Sippo on Monday, April 30, 2007, 09:11:29 Dons will be Accy. No doubt about that. They played 5 up front at times against Wycombe. End of the day what have they got to lose?

Post by: axs on Monday, April 30, 2007, 12:13:59 the goal difference isn't insurmountable for them, they only need us to lose 2-0 and win 2-0 themselves, if they knock in 3 and we lose then they go up. we have to do the business on saturday, or i think we will be in the playoffs.
