Can't see Brown coming here, although it does seem that McCarthy is an admirer of Parkin. If we lost Parkin, finding a replacement would be very difficult and next season we could really struggle. Perhaps if Christian Roberts finds his form we could cope with the loss of Parkin, but strikes me more of a goal creator than a goal scorer. If he renew his contract with us that would mean he could be free to leave us in the summer anyway

For a footballer he is bloody intelligent I think! The best thing to do (financially) would be to sell in the summer, or get him to renew his contract and sel him in January. He won't be here this time next year I'm sure.
