Title: Dilemma Post by: Ralphy on Sunday, April 15, 2007, 19:43:34 On saturday my mate is getting married.
I've been invited to the evening do at a posh hotel in Faringdon. I have hired a full dinner suit for the occasion. I also don't want to miss the Mansfield match. I need to be at Faringdon for between 6 and 6:30pm. The bugger is i will also need a shower before putting the suit on and i live in north Oxfordshire. What do i do ? By the time i get back home from Swindon it will be 5:45pm. I then need to shower, change and drive to Faringdon :? Title: Dilemma Post by: Nomoreheroes on Sunday, April 15, 2007, 19:44:54 Contact the hotel and see if you can get a shower there. Maybe it has got a pool or gym with shower area ?
NMH Title: Dilemma Post by: Bob's Orange on Sunday, April 15, 2007, 19:45:04 Just arrive fashionably late with a decent excuse like
'sorry I am late, I was attacked by a loony frenchman who kept throwing belgian waffles at me'. Title: Dilemma Post by: Ralphy on Sunday, April 15, 2007, 19:47:27 Showering at the hotel would be ideal.
Maybe i should go to the match dressed as James Bond. Title: Dilemma Post by: blinkpip on Sunday, April 15, 2007, 20:08:10 Stop being a woman. Wear the suit and smell of booze. It's not a fashion parade.
