I was the one who used to give the sledging, there was nothing quite like annoying a centre forward.  8)

I played as a favour for a team the other day and one of the players on my team kept calling me Sparky. I have no idea why though?

Maybe you look like Mark Hughes?

One of my mates would always refer to me as whoever Swindon's worst striker of the moment was.  I called him Killer Kilcline.

I got called ugly once. Not that thats an unfair comment in itself, but made me laugh when it came from someone who looked like Peter Beardsley.

He was referred to as Brad Pitt by our whole team for the rest of the game "Lads, someone mark Brad!"

After a nightmare season we beat Exeter City 3-1 yesterday moving us above them and off the bottom. That was their last game too. which was nice. Still have 4 games left I think so a nice mid table finish is on the cards

I was involved in a heated match on Saturday - Not offical league game, just an 11-a-side match between random gatherings of people.

The game was quite hostile throughout - near the end, our striker got hacked down in the box. But this lad in a full Chelsea kit (a week before it was the full Italy kit - next week?) who got the ball shouted play on - which led to myself suffering the "red mist syndrome" and taking him out of the game in (let's just say) a very cynical manner - the whole incident led to the game being ended  :D

When the Chelsea kid got up we went "why did you do that for?" in a whingy way

I replied "Because you're wearing a fucking full Chelsea kit you fucking cunt"

My wit had abandoned me.

We played football with a bunch of Italian's on Sunday. One of them had no shirt on and red shorts. I kept calling him hasslehoff much to his confusion. I also questioned why they were so shit bearing in mind they were the current World Champions!!

Yip, we were short of players and so I had to play on their team. They were utter garbage and we lost 4-2 against my fat, hungover Scots mates.

We used to call our boss 'jaffa, purely cause he was the gaffa and he loved his jaffa cakes.....that and he was a fat bastard!

Generally havent been called too many names on the pitch other than Topper by my own team just cause I apparently resembled Charley Sheen, who played Topper Harley in hot shots and i like to joke around a bit with the opposing defenders.
