Whatever, a horrible thing to happen to anybody, paramedics, ambulance on the pitch, could not have been easy for the players and to abandon was the right decision. Best wishes to the guy. :thumbs:

Lee, who was playing only his second game because of King's suspension, made a great save before landing awkwardly on his back in the 83rd minute and suffering a great deal of pain. After assessing his injury the club's Sports Therapist's insisted that he shouldn't be moved because of a potential spinal injury. They felt it should be left to the paramedics who were immediately called. During the delay the referee decided that the match should be abandoned with the score 2-0 in Chesham's favour. The Southern League executive will now decide if the game should be replayed or the result should stand. Once the paramedics arrived they made Lee comfortable before moving him into the ambulance and off to hospital. Won't be easy for a goalie to make a quick recovery, let us hope it goes well for him.
