The deadline is this weekend - applicants should send in a brief resume of who they are, what they would bring to the Trust board (personally and/or professionally) any relevant experience and basically why people should vote for you (e.g. if elected I'd like to see the Trust do such and such differently, do more of x, less of y etc)

Just a thought PD - do current board members have to submit resumes as well?

Yes. Anyone wishing to stand for the board must submit a formal application including resumes

The walk from the irish pub on manchester road all the way up to the kings in old town last night nearly killed me. I'd even ran out of change for a pint in my stop in the merlin. Disaster.

That's because you took the long way round....a mate who lives in Roseberry Street, calls his local the Pint and Prostitute.

 Kings on a Thursday ?

Good job getting a round in its always a bargain at £3 a Carling in the Kings I was just going to pass over my bank card and give them my pin number and say just help yourself.

A steady enough night all in all tho got to meet the famous Flammable Ben and he even bought a round  :beers: as did Fred was worth the tour of scary pubs to deliver leaflets in the end  :D

£3s fair enough pennace for people who drink that piss - the array of pleasant arkells in the King's should satisfy all discerning pallets.

Fair argument, prefer McKenzies because they have more lager on draught think something like choice of 5 or 6 in there whereas Kings is like Stella or Carling.

Has that renowned fence-sitter Maverick applied?  Come on Mav, what a thing for your CV, town councillor (Marlborough) and Trust member.  My god, you'll be as important as "I was a corporate lawyer" Bowden soon!
