Would he compete or will he happily sit on the bench and take a bit of money as he can't find a club? Rhys Evans left us because he/his agent/both felt that he was too good for League Two football and since 2008 that's the only place he's been and he's failed to hold down a first team place for two seasons. I'd much rather have a young Premier League/Championship goalkeeper. As that's what is implied here. Pretty much everyone involved in the club that's important to Rhys Evans is new since he was last here, the manager, the players, the board... IMO I do think someone like Thomas Sorenson would be ideal in that mould, no chance of getting him I accept but has played at a higher level, currently sits on the bench with no chance of playing 1st team except in the cups and fancies a stint between the sticks...who knows it could lead to longer!
