Title: The Consortium Appreciation Thread Post by: Sippo on Thursday, March 29, 2007, 14:03:46 Deserves a new thread?
I just wanted to say a huge thanks for putting a bid to our beloved football club. The current board are refusing to open the books yet you still make a bid on the business. Lets hope the current people in charge see the light and that the majority of fans are behind you all the way! Thanks for all your hard work guys. Title: The Consortium Appreciation Thread Post by: Richard4acre on Thursday, March 29, 2007, 14:19:28 Can we assume that bill power is having a stab in the dark with the offer he has made? If so how much do you rekon he's offered? I can't imagine the clubs assets being worth much more than its liabilities. So has the offer been made with this in mind, or has he said he'll pay x amount off too the current shareholders, regardless of abny liabailtities, and then he'll worry about that later?

Don't worry Sonic, we won't :D Was well chuffed when I read that this morning whilst "studying the 2007 Budget". Even if it is rejected, its a start Title: The Consortium Appreciation Thread Post by: janaage on Thursday, March 29, 2007, 15:51:13 The 2007 Budget was shit, not a patch on 2006, at least that severely effected my job. The 2007 one was half hearted bollocks.
As for Bill this news has made me excited, progress has been made. Please note this is not the kind of excitement that Ben will have experienced having heard the latest STFCnews. Although the only reason I know this is because one of the anti-consortium brigade Dell Boy posted it on thisis. http://www.thisisstfc.co.uk/forum_new/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=33488 then preceded to get the piss taken out of him a bit and resigned from the forum! :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: Title: The Consortium Appreciation Thread Post by: pauld on Friday, March 30, 2007, 10:11:56 The Mail, Mirror and Sun will all be relying on the same PA/agency copy which are notoriously inaccurate esp when it comes to lower league matters - so this is basically the same report just copied in lots of papers. They're as likely to have plucked the £1m figure from mid-air as anything. To be treated with the same disdain as most of those one-para rumour reports in the back pages of the redtops.
