I am not a member of the trust but i fully support the consortium and i feel that it is time for change along with the majority of swindon town supporters.
 
Support for the consortium is growing by the day, Mr Holt's comments on friday night have swayed other fans who were sitting on the fence to back the consortium.
 
The club is in a terrible mess, there is no investment in the playing squad at all and we have let several players go.
 
I feel the trusts plans for the redevelopment of the county ground are supported by many unlike the boards redevelopment plans.
 
This board have done nothing for us fans, apart from told us lies about paying the £100k cva bill when it had actually not been paid, where has all the income from player sales gone to? where did Mr Powers investment go to?
 
The board do not care about the fans at all, even Mr Holt was quoted as saying he did not care what us fans have to say. this was after the Accrington game, if the board really cared about stfc and the fans then they would do the decent and honourable thing and sell to the consortium.

Also the CVA remains unpaid and is due for payment shortly, are you going to be able to pay the CVA to prevent the club from being wound up?
 
The consortium have pledged to pay the full CVA bill if they gain control of the club.
 
Do you plan on spending the money from the sale of Lukas on the CVA? or will it go elsewhere?

As well as being a corporate lawyer and having worked for nPower - did you know that even his opponents respect him. It must be true as he told us so at the fans forum. This did raise some giggles.

He also told us he'd discussed plans with Rod Bluh who would have been there to support him but he had flu. He also said Rod bluh was his bestest mate and would be putting something in wiriting saying he supported the plans.

I think that will be all from Mr Bowden today, i don't expect anymore emails from him but i hope that i have managed to put him under some sort of pressure as that is my aim to tell him the facts and put him and the board under as much pressure as possible.

Razzle, it wasn't a council meeting it was a local residents' group meeting. But, if he thinks you are misinformed, what you have said re "plans in my head" is contained within Michael Dickinson's notes on the meeting, Mr Dickinson being one of the councillors for the Central Ward, and also backed up by Kevin Leakey, Secretary of the residents group in question. Their account of the evening is very clear that Mr Bowden explicitly said there was no written version of the plans, it was all just in his head at the moment. Leaving aside the issue of quite what he's been doing for four months if he's not got so far as putting pen to paper, this does seem to be somewhat at odds with his statements at the Fans' Forum where he explicitly said he'd shown plans to Rod Bluh, Gavin Jones et al and also his programme notes in the Hartlepool programme where he says



Unless of course, he did the same with Rod Bluh as he did at the residents' group when asked to show them the plans - he tapped the side of his head and said "Here they are".

But it seems unlikely as Rod Bluh in his email to Yeovil denied having seen any such plans. I write with regard to my beloved football club, the enigma that is Swindon Town FC.

I note that for some time now a consortium involving Bill Power, Phil Emmell, Mike Wilkes and the independent TrustSTFC fans movement(with the support of a large number of Town fans, myself included) have approached the club with a view to buying control of the club in order to relieve Sir Seton Wills and his family of their current financial burden with regard the club, in order to put STFC back on a firm financial footing, to move the club back up the football league pyramid, and to secure the long term future of our club.

To my dismay, as a supporter with over 27 years as a regular at the County Ground, and as a member of TrustSTFC, i have recently learned that the club are not being as co-operative as they possibly could be in engaging in these talks and progressing with any meaningfull dialogue with the Consortium.

I can go as far as to say that Mike Bowden, a Club Director, adressed supporteers after the recent home game with Accrington Stanley and stated in front of myself and many others, that a formal offer had yet to be made by the consortium. When Pushed on this, Mr.Bowden suggested that the Consortium should indeed make a formal offer. When i suggested that no offer could be made by anyone, without access to the clubs books in order to make an assessment of the clubs current financial situation, the response was "well make us an offer"!

Could i ask publicly that Mr.Bowden justify this ludicrous comment? One only has to look at the recent transactions involving Liverpool FC, Manchester United, Aston Villa, to name but three, to realise that there is a set format involved in the purchase of a football club, or indeed any business come to that, this being called Due Dilligence. This allows potential purchasers to assess the net-worth/goodwill of the club or indeed it's financial liabilities and or debts. All of the above named clubs, and many like them, have entered into this process and opened their books in order for Due Dilligence to take place. Why is Swindon Town FC any different? What is there to hide?

On a seperate note, i understand that Mr.Bowden recently attended a County Ground area residents meeting to talk about the possible re-development of the existing County Ground Stadium footprint. He had vey little of interest to say to the residents of any note, other than any re-development would involve encroaching onto the green spaces that surround the ground.. This was met with short thrift.
The club have no actual plans drawn up to my knowledge and this was apparent at the meeting.
Contrast this with the Consortium/Trusts plans that were put together in consultation with residents groups and the local Ward and Borough councillors, as well as Anne Snelgrove, and it makes me wonder if the club have any idea about what they are trying to achieve. That is if they want to stay in Swindon at all!

I, as a fan(and im sure the vast majority like me) have had enough of all the lies and spin that eminates from the current Board.
The accounts not up to date, the cva not being paid on time and the mis-information released by the club regarding this, resistance to engage with the Consortium.....the list goes on and on.
Where has Mr Powers's £1.2million gone? Where has all the money gone from the transfer of messrs Parkin and Fallon, the concert money, the Wise & Poyet compensation, not to mention the increase in match day revenue as a result of higher attendences?
Why has the CVA not been paid in light of these increased revenues, with the club now seeking to re-structure these payments.
Now that Lucas J is of to Everton FC, will the cva bullett payment now be met in full?

Enough is Enough.
Bob Holt stated recently that the incumbent board would "burn Rubber" to get out of SN1 if an acceptable offer were to be made.

Well Mr.Holt, show us you are a man of your word and open the books(as has been done elsewhere) in order that the Consortium CAN make a non-blind offer based on the current financial situation at the club.

BSACC monthly meetings are open to all residents within the constitutional area, Wellington St to Copse Ave and the railway line to Fleming Way/Shrivenham Rd.
Certainly not a private meeting, and no problems with you posting your view of the meetings contents.

What we really need is proper meetings with individual board members somewhere like a pub on a Saturday so that we can ask them questions individually and you can get an in-depth answer to your question - not some shite forum where one board member fends off a question to another. Somewhere like a pub would be ideal. (Although you would have to go into it with an open mind.)

However what would be the most useful would be to have an overview of where the money goes. I know they are not legally obliged to do so but surely it's in their own interest to avoid all this anti-board feeling from the fans and give us a bit of an idea?

That's the point - ' a complete waste of time' - you've got to keep an open mind, listen, take notes, pick up on any statements that may seem ambiguous to previous ones and ask more in depth questions. Personally the boards lack of transparency irritates me but I'm wouldn't think 'Oh, Bob Holt or whoever's a twat, I'm not listening to them' - even if you've heard it all before you should stilll keep an open mind before the meeting to stop you being blinkered and not listening. And then if you think that they've talked shite throughout afterwards then that's fair enough, because you've listened rationally and probably learned a load about what you wanted to know.

I don't think getting topless models will get us the truth, but I will be happy to see them around  :D

What we really need is proper meetings with individual board members somewhere like a pub on a Saturday so that we can ask them questions individually and you can get an in-depth answer to your question - not some shite forum where one board member fends off a question to another. Somewhere like a pub would be ideal. (Although you would have to go into it with an open mind.)

However what would be the most useful would be to have an overview of where the money goes. I know they are not legally obliged to do so but surely it's in their own interest to avoid all this anti-board feeling from the fans and give us a bit of an idea?

Too many examples where I have more than happily given them the benefit of doubt and taken their story at face value only later to find it was complete and utter horse shit.

R for K, if they produced accounts this would not happen. We would be able to see how much Dunwoody take out of the club each year, where the black holes are. Its a pain in the arse that inland revenue doesnt do anything about it. STFC pays fines (and therefore us fans) to keep their financial irregularities under wraps. Madness.

Ive listened to this board for a long time. And they talk a lot of absolute bollocks. I would listen to 1 man, Diamandis, because his opinion seems to be the only 1 the matters at STFC. All the board members with the exception of James Wills are either Dunwoody (Diamandis) spokespeople or just generally disinterested.

But I wouldnt meet Diamandis and have a chat with him because I consider the man absolute scum. He considers STFC his personal company to further his own means and does not seem to care if we are the latest company in a long list under his directorship to go under, so long as he comes out of it in profit. The way he runs the club is totally illegal.
