Title: England v New Zealand
Post by: larwood on Friday, March 16, 2007, 08:18:51
England games need a separate thread i think :)

Anyway big game this afternoon, whoever wins takes the two points through to the super eights[presuming of course that both teams beat Kenya and Canada].
Hope jimmy is fit for it,Lewis will be given the nod if he isn't i reckon.

not too optimistic for this one, to many ifs and buts around certain players performances. if we play to how we know we can play we can beat them, but how often do we?!

Yep i have the afternoon off as well. Should be a close game but it is vital we win this to have any chance of getting to the semi-finals due to the points being carried forward.

Although wouldnt surprise me if we win this then lose to Canada or something!

Quote
Kaboom-a-boom! An unbelievable catch from Flintoff - full length to his right at second slip at bag Taylor's thick edge off Plunkett. Taylor shouldn't have chased it, but that was a sensational pouch. Flintoff disappears under a pile of blue-shirted team-mates."
8) BUNDLE!

plunkett hit's a big booming 6 with the bat and then takes a wicket in his first over - is there anything that this young englishman can't do?
