Just a heads up that as of today the tickets for Hereford are on sale.  Season ticket holders ahve a choice of seat or terrace, the terrace tickets are on general sale.  I am anticipating a largeish following so it might be pertinent to grab your tickets pretty sharpish.

How many tickets will we get?

I got told only season ticket holders could get them today and um non-ST holders had to wait a bit longer, or something like that.

Managed to wangle the time off, so me and the lad will be there!

Just got my ticket for the terracing.  Will be driving up as a couple of my mates from school are Hereford fans and we're meeting up for a pint before the game.

300 standing, 200 seats - I believe the terrace standing can (and will need to be for our lot) be extended, but I have no idea how many maybe 800-1,000?

I would imagine we will get some off the terrace behind the goal as well

Ted - you can get terracing tickets from the club but not seats unless you are a season ticket holder.  This will change in the next day or so.  Quite right about the OS - seems they can only cope with one game ahead :evil:

on the thisis forum it says we will get about 1,300 so better get those tickets fairly quick. Is it L&P day?

We're taking 2 minibuses (not much planned if anything though).  We'll be using pubs on the route rather than in Hereford and letting plod know of our arrival to ensure the mini buses make it back out in one piece.

Rob, do you know where Alan got to with these - I'm a 'reserve' but when I paid him for the blimp he said I'd probably be Ok to go on the buses? Just wondering whether I need to sort my train tickets yet?

According to a Walsall fan they took about 1800 to Hereford. I'd assume we'd also get that if required?

who really cares about missing a bit of the match? i know 'you travelled that far you dont wanna miss it' argument but id rather miss a few minutes every so often if it meant we were taking 1000+ to places like hereford.
that said, i'll try my best to be really pissed off about it on the day, or everyone else can take note and arrive in good time so there's no queue for me.

My tickets still haven't turned up. I'm going to phone 'em tomorrow and see if I can get some replacements.

Ticket office bloke today didn't think we'd get any more than the 1500 we have, although clearly (from the Walsall stuff) there is an overflow area for plenty more if required.

Having said that, he said we've only sold 300 so far, so asking for more tickets already might be a little premature.

Got two tickets today the bloke in the ticket office reckons we have loads left. I would have thought we will sell out easy. Maybe a lot of fans think its pay on the day

big quew at lunch time[not helped by only one window being open] went back at 2 o,clock to join another 20 plus line taking about 25 mins to get served saw two wads of hereford tickets the seated wad about 75% gone the terraced wad sold about 10 tickets,probably means all the minted fans got the seats before pay day .when i left a good 20 plus were still waiting.

He said a 'good number' had been sold at 4ish today - but still plenty available - although he suspected they would sell a lot tomorrow.

The Blackfriars stand is sold out and i'm in the floors to go terrace. I thought we just had the whole of the stand behind the goal but it seems we have the stand on the side too?

The way I understood it was, we have half of the Blackfriars terrace (behind the goal) and half of the floors to go stand, which is split into seating at the back and terracing at the front.
Would have thought it would be easier to keep us all together...never mind. :shrug:

That Blackfriars is split between home and away fans, although according to Hereford fans we're likely to get the whole stand if we ask for it. They don't have any season ticket holders in that stand so they gave it all to away fans if required (this isn't often)

It looks like there's a chance we might get all of the Blackfriars End. 8)

Hereford fans are wetting themselves at the thought of playing us. Suppose we should be flattered really but aint half funny.

if we get the whole black friars i would wanna swap my ticket for one of them. that stand is a lot bigger and the atmosphere will be class.

They have got a horrible set of fans, I do hope we beat them.

My brother got the tickets this morning and i have just received it from him. Is it just me or do the tickets feel fake. Unless they are and he has stole my money damn it. They are made out of the thinnest paper ever. They are so gonna get ripped!!

Just been announced that Hereford are giving us the whole of the blackfriers stand. So i take it you can now pay on the day. Should be a good turn out now.

Maybe they will see sense and put all the floors to go people in the blackfirars adn only keep the floors to go for absolute overflow - minimising stewarding costs.

For those not going on the incider tour and are slumming it on the trains, are people going through newport or gloucester?? where abouts are people thinking of drinking when we get there too??

500 extra places available in the Blackfriars (and I'll be having one of them thanks to the wife forgetting to get the ticket).  We'll fill the 2000 I think and if Walsall's experience is anything to go by it'll be mayhem getting in.

well, none left today so decision made.  Pay on the day only.

Buy one- pay on the day = risk of pubbage being curtailed and queuing and potentially not getting in, buying a ticket means your efforts can concentrate on pouring beer down your neck.
