Still, probably not such a bad thing...the thought that coffee table owning, 4x4 driving, 'art collectors' are buying his work for hundreds of thousands of pounds is full of wrong  :?

Taken out of context it's just a fashion statement.

Hmmm seems a bit two faced of the Council to preserve Banksy graffiti but target other stuff.Whos to say that a giant spray painted nob and balls or someone scrawling "Tinas a Slag" on a wall isnt also Guerilla Art?

Quite, and more to the point it was a shit bit of graffiti(there are better pieces by him and other people in Bristol).
