Maybe they are blocking Sturrock from signing anyone in order to save money and raise extra funds? As i posted in a different thread maybe Sturrock was forced to offload players such as monkhouse and comyn-platt to raise extra funds, that may explain why the board managed to pay the £100k CVA bill. I'm not trying to start rumours, but it's something that should be considered because Sturrock has wanted some extra players for a while now and he hasn't managed to get anyone, doesn't it look alittle bit odd? maybe Sturrock is finding out for himself what the board are really like!! When I talked to him at training he said that Monkhouse "wasn't his sort of player" (he wants players who play high tempo in the midfield) and "was injured all the time". He was delighted to get money for him, and he said that the funds would be available for transfers.
