Agree in part Arriba, we shouldn't let it affect what goes on on the pitch and I don't think booing him will have any positive impact to the rest of the team.

We were lucky with results going our way on Tuesday, now we have to take advantage of that. I don't think letting this linger would help

The incident was just fuel to an already blazing fire.

Brown was never going to win over the fans afters his comments last year.

Simple fact is that for the time being he's not going anywhere - Sturrock chose him and Zaaboub over Monky and despite being totally justified in hating the player we have to move on from it as Aaron Brown isn't worth getting worked up about.

Basically, he's the least of our problems!

And do you think that had something to do with him telling our fans to 'fuck off' with wanker hand gestures following that.

Ive decided not to to boo him on Saturday just because we're that bad at the moment and could do without it.

I have just read that statement with disbelief. Firstly he was not singled out for abuse during that game. I heard most players getting stick at one point or another.

When he took the corner and kicked it out i was frustrated. we all had a moan but again nothing that abusive was shouted. He looked as if he didnt care and smiled at the away end kissing his hands and waving them at us.

Now i was the fan who on the railing. I didnt try to jump it, and nor was i on it straight away. But when he did that, i then jumped up on it to shout abuse. As i said to a steward, i never abuse our own players, but when someone who at the start of the season thought he was too good, then does that in the final couple of minutes not giving a toss then smiling and gesturing at the fans i was furious. So i jumped up telling him what i thought. He looked at me and gave me a wanker sign and just did not care one bit.

That statement is a lie. I reacted to him not the other way around. He was just reacting to the normal boos and comments that had been made through the whole game. As a player you cant do that! Those comments were justified because we all spent a lot of money and time off work to watch that. Only to be re-paid by an awful performance. We are entitled to boo and have a moan. And when someone wastes a corner and does just not care i think it is a disgrace.

So Brown, stick your apology up your arse! Its a lie and you are only saying it because you have been told too!! You are not worthy to wear the shirt!

So it will end this summer.

I feel obliged to stick up for Brown and I have no idea why, I don't like him.

I refuse to hurl abuse at our own players during games though it's pathetic.

Hes been forced to apologise, only doing it to keep in managers good books.  Bottom line is hes here and theres nothing the fans can do to get rid of him so people are going to accept that.

Although what he did was unacceptable, I think there are bigger issues at the club to worry about at the moment.

Thats whats so depressing at the moment! The game, the manager, the players and fans are no longer the important issue on a saturday afternoon, its the bunch a clowns running the show!!

Last year we were shit, but the game was the important thing, saturday afternoon was about football because the pissing board werent releasing statements every other day ruining football for the fans of this club. I don't blame the trust/consortium at all, but they've exposed so much bollox the football is second place to saving the club.

Brown was on Radio Swindon this morning obvoiusly from yesterday after training. He didn't apologise, he just said he could understand why fans were on the teams back  after their first half display.

I disagree though that he has been unlucky. He thought he was too good for us, but then relalised no one higher wanted him and had to eat his words. Since then he has been a poor player for us. He then shanked that corner at Barnet and did not give a monkeys and made gestures to the fans. He then only apologised because he was told to and even his apology was a lie. That to me is not unlucky, but a cunt. We dont need players with attitudes like that at this club, I for one will boo him. If he scores i dont care, yes i will be happy we have scored but it wont change my opinion of him. We do not need players like that playing for us!

In my opinion the main thing is not to let this get out of hand. Yes the guy is a cunt, Yes it is fair enough to not want him in the team...

But on the whole I think getting promoted this season is the most important thing. Obviously if he puts in Barent-esque performances from now on I will copletely agree he should be dropped but let's just support the team and forget who is playing until we come back on to message boards after the match.

I don't think winding him up during games is going to help the STFC cause one bit

I thought you'd decided not to go to home games Sonic..? FWIW, any player that makes those gestures at his own fans should be suspended without pay and/or fined. Luggy should have the strength of character to sort this out.

What would happen if the fan ('Give us an S' or anyone else) made a complaint to the League or the cops ?

I decided to start coming along again when I can afford it to take part in any protests, going to invest in a six game season ticket tomorrow though.
