I know 1 lad who was accused by a steward of throwing a bottle in the Town End 3 years ago. They took him to court and he had to pay for a lawyer, which he couldnt afford. They said they had CCTV (which was a lie) in the hope that he would plead guilty. It was thrown out, because they had no CCTV, but it cost him a lot of money. He didnt throw that bottle, it came from 3 rows behind him. Another lad had to go back to Bournemouth 3 times to court before it was thrown out after doing nothing more than chanting in the ground (at opposition supporters). Again days off work, lawyer, transport. Plenty worse has happened to plenty of Town fans before. Be thankful they didnt find some reason to arrest him (theyve probably got plenty of laws regarding football) and stick him in a magistrates court. Football supporters have been shafted for the last 10 years. Were all supposed to be perfect. Didnt you know that?..........
