I doubt that he can do much about it tonight.

Looks like we all might have to chip in to pay for a higher limit for him.

Sorry guys. Bandwidth's up for the month.

I've emailed them and asked them to put me on the 'unlimited' package, but it might not be until Monday we're back online.

I've had 375,855 hits since Monday, that's 2.57GB of bandwidth. My allowance was 1GB. Oops.

sam, just so you know we use around 13-15gb a month...so might be worth making sure the package you get can handle that if it continues

I know fuck all about website bandwidth problems. Does the current problem with getting onto the site indicate that it has been swamped with hits? Is it just too popular for its own website? Someone please enlighten me what this all means?

I think there's still problems with the name servers not being update properly.

There's even a private section I think, problem is that I ain't staying up to verify users. Don't worry about fucking anybody off though, it's a free jobby.

It's still not 100% up due to the DNS not being updated (or so I think, I've raised a support ticket with the host).

If you try to log on it'll say 'bandwidth exceeded'. Just click back, then go to the memberlist or private messages. From either of those screens click the index link and you'll be able to see the forum. Obscure, but it works.

There was a problem with cookies due to the change of host. I've corrected the problem server side, but before trying to log in you need to erase you internet history and cookies and then restart your internet browser.
