Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: returnofthereds on Friday, February 2, 2007, 07:54:37 I think it could be time for a couple of changes tomorrow as this really could stretch our lead over the chasing pack and I would like to see (what I would call) our strongest 11 play.
I would give Sturrock a go from the start but replace Shakes not Roberts.I would move Robbo to the right instead, and try and get him doing what he was doing last week by beating players and getting to the by-line and putting crosses in for 2 strikers to attack rather than just Peacock and Pook/ Timlin strolling in at the edge of the box. I think Weston is ready to play again now.Pook has done well in patches but doesn't have that speed of thought that Weston does that can open things up with a quick turn or flick. Not starting for the last 5 games or so he really should have the bit between his teeth so he doesn't lose his place again. I'm not too bothered who does or doesn't play for them.We have enough in our locker to deal with what ever gets thrown at us. It should be a really good football match ,two good teams and lots of people there to watch with only the fans decked out in red ( and orange) going home with smiles on their face.............i hope. Enjoy. Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: fatbury on Friday, February 2, 2007, 08:47:19 Id like to see the following
Smith Smith Ifil Williams Nicholas Weston Pook Timlin Roberts Peacock Sturrock Subs Stewart Noubissie Shakes Jutkiewicz Brown Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: stfctownenda on Friday, February 2, 2007, 08:50:12 Never thought I would say this but keep Shakes and Pook in  . No need to change a winning team the current 11 are on a roll and deserve a fair crack at Hartlepool.
If it doesn't go to plan then bring on Weston, Lukas and Sturrock and they should make a difference :D When you look at those 3 coming on the squad looks alot stronger than you think :beers: Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: stfctownenda on Friday, February 2, 2007, 08:51:47 Quote from: "fatbury" Id like to see the following Smith Smith Ifil Williams Nicholas Weston Pook Timlin Roberts Peacock Sturrock Subs Stewart Noubissie Shakes Jutkiewicz Brown Surely your sources have not said to leave Zaboub completely out of the whole squad thats just nuts  Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: Ben-STFC on Friday, February 2, 2007, 09:46:16 Zaboub is suspended i believe.

If they all play as well as they can, it's gonna be a great game to watch. We need all 11 to perform to their maximum though, something that's rarely happened this season. Too many players sometimes don't look up for it, which we can get away with against poorer sides, (as long as it's only a couple of 'em). If anyone goes 'missing' tomorrow, we could be in serious trouble.......... Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: Batch on Friday, February 2, 2007, 12:23:19 Barring injurys and any unknown suspensions the team that plays should be the same as the last game.
They have earnt the right even if the last game was a struggle and they know that slackness will result in them being dropped. Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: DV on Friday, February 2, 2007, 12:45:00 Smith

Jack Smith Jerel Ifil Adrian Williams Andrew Nicholas Richard Shakes Michael Pook Michael Timlin Sofiene Zaaboub Lee Peacock Christian Roberts ------- Jonathan Stewart Blair Sturrock Curtis Weston Aaron Brown Patrick Noubissie Youmbi This is what I think Sturrock will do. No change in the starting XI - I've put Noubissie in ahead of Jutkiewicz for defensive cover. Title: Line up for tomorrow Post by: adje on Saturday, February 3, 2007, 13:18:31 It will be interesting to compare Monkfish and Zaboub.Monky says Sturrock was a "bit hasty"in getting shot of him and I agree.Zaboub for me has shown flashes of brilliance but needs a bit more consistency
