Title: If the meeting today goes nowhere do you back hard action
Post by: townfanupnorth on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, 14:36:38
I was just wondering if talks today go nowhere and the board tell the consortium to get lost, do you feel it would be time to start hard action such as mass demonstrations against the board etc?

I think they just want to meet regarding bill powers investment in the summer, the board wont be interested in talking about the takeover, as soon as that is mentioned they will be told to get lost.

I personally think several forms of hard action should be taken if the consortium are fobbed off with crap by the board.

Its a first meeting I doubt we will be told a thing about what happens to be honest unless its a complete balls up or brush off.I suspect we will need to be patient for a few more months yet.

That said im always up for a bit of hard action

Its important to try and keep a balanced perspective of any feedback from both sides. Its quite probable that any statement from the Club is likely to be somewhat condescending if things don't go their way, but its time to keep an open mind, unless as Yeovil says its a total brush-off. I'd be prepared to wait to achieve said objectives, for a short while at least.

I think we should alternate:

Hard, then soft, then hard, then soft, faster, faster! Don't stop! Ooooo!!

Where's the tissues?

I am sure that the jungle drums will be beating.

I will let everyone know, as always, what I can, but we must remember that things are extremely delicate at the moment and I am sure that the key figures will want the majority kept as confidential.

I have to respect that.

This is officially the most homoerotic thread ever on the TEF.

 :?

The fact that there's a meeting is progress in itself so it would be a bit daft to protest on Saturday. Unless of course the meeting is a total disaster.
