Title: Aerofilms Football Grounds Books Post by: redbullzeye on Monday, January 29, 2007, 20:25:56 This will only appeal to people who like football ground stuff!! I've just bought Edition 14 of the Aerofilms football grounds book because I am terminally sad and no bugger bought it me for Christmas. The only other one I bought was 10 years ago and it was incredible to see the differences in grounds over that period. I was thinking of who has transformed their ground the most in the last 10 years - my vote Hull City. When you see their new ground from the air and compare it to Boothferry Park its bloody amazing. Others - Reading, Derby, Man City and Stoke. Of course all these have moved to completely different sites, so who has transformed the ground the most but kept to the original site? Those in with a shout have to be Bradford, Birmingham, Fulham, Charlton, Blackpool and (of course) Man Utd. I even wanted to compare Oxford but for some reason the bastards weren't in this year's edition.

So has Vicarage Road. I've got a couple of those Aerofilm books, they're ace. If you're into football grounds this website is worth checking out if you've not already seen it: www.footballgroundguide.co.uk Title: Aerofilms Football Grounds Books Post by: redbullzeye on Monday, January 29, 2007, 20:55:00 That's a good one Reg, Stamford Bridge in the 1996 book were rebuilding half the ground whereas now they've got a huge hotel complex stuck on the side. I should also do a "people who have done fuck all" section! Winner has to be Carlisle - they built that stand which was clearly done with a view to moving the pitch down 20 yards or so and 10 years later it's still miles out of kilter!
