I'm sure they've had Spurs....Carrick Marney..........Newcastle....Given Milner.........Blackburn/Burnley.......Todd,Thompson/Grant.....Sheff.Utd......Thirlwell In the early rounds they had Brentford.....Deon Burton. Also provides the only example of a father and son playing for and managing STFC at senior level. Some had their lads on the books like Bert Head, but they never played for the first team. I don't know why I remember that, I just do. On the subject of Hoddle, I would say he was too young when he was at Swindon to have any sons turning out for even our youth team. I did however see his brother Carl turning out for Barnet in the mid 90's. Imagine being 'God's' younger brother eh? Follow that! Title: A completely pointless observation......
