Shaun asked him if there was any progress with the fan's consortium, his reply was along the lines that "our legal advisers will be meeting with Bill Power's and Phil Emmel's legal advisers this week". I can't remember his exact wording regarding his response to the question I can't quite recall but he intimated that the club consider Power's money to be share capital, which indicated to me that this meeting is regarding that alone - hence the refusal to communicate with Wilkes. Don't take that as gospel, it was merely my cynical interpretation. Also it sounded like they are just meeting power/emmell for investment and not regarding taking over the club. As if power is going to give them losers anymore money, he's already given them £1million and where the hell did that go? Not being funny but these clowns will never walk away, they just are not interested in what the consortium has to say, they wont negotiate with them at all, the only way you would get them out is if you literally dragged them out of town!! Can we just chill a mo We do not know what exactly (but now we have a fair idea) where the club is coming from on Tuesday no matter what the intentions are, the fact that the two parties are talking is progress. I for one have confidence that every eventuality is catered for Can we just not sit on this please for 3 days and see what develops ? Let's see what Wednesday brings and decide from there. If they had the meeting today they would of had the awkward question thrown at them of why they will not sit around the table and speak to the consortium..I just feel that now they have a answer to a question that was on a lot of peoples minds. I have never been to a forum but i bet you it will go like this Q, Why has the cva not been paid yet when you said it was? A,We did not say it was that was mis interpreted.We have a structure in place to pay this. Q,When will we ever see the accounts? A, We are close to having these completed and these will be available very soon. Q,How comes we have not signed anybody in the transfer window? A, We had targets and money has been made available to ps but they moved elswhere Q,Where has the wise/poyet,parkin,falon and bryan adams concert money gone?
