So Adams wasn't prepared to drop 2 leagues and take a pay cut? What did he expect? Championship wages? Fucking hell! We are a basement division club, we shouldn't be signing players on high wages (Lets leave that for the summer, when, hopefully we'll be league 1). I hope MK Dongs signing of knight bites them on the bum when they fail to get promotion. We're 2nd in the league with the squad we've got. If we can get a couple of loanees in to strengthen it, that should be enough. The only position I really worry about is goalkeeper. If Smithy had been seriously injured by that meathead yesterday, we would be well fucked!
