Title: Bob Woolmer Post by: larwood on Monday, January 22, 2007, 12:32:33 Has put his name into the ring for the England job.Don't think there is going to be a position vacant though,i think rightly or wrongly the ECB will stick it out with Fletcher.
Still interesting to see there is another bloke out there who would be prepared to take the job, seeing as to my mind there isn't really a lot of choice. in international cricket at the moment. http://www.cricket365.com/story/0,18305,6575_1861443,00.html This story made me laugh too, poor cheating convict Greg Chappell :soapy tit wank: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/other_international/india/6286329.stm Title: Bob Woolmer Post by: fatbury on Monday, January 22, 2007, 12:47:32 I personally dont think Fletcher should go .. as long as we do well in the summer - it was a scheduling problem that we lost so bad in Oz .. blame the ECB for agreeing to it!

Title: Bob Woolmer Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, January 22, 2007, 16:20:36 possibly. but who says we can't have him? did a good job with India. anyway it is far from certain Fletcher will even go. can't see him walking so its down to the ECB

He inherited a top quality county side at Worcester, in the first division in first class and one dayers. And when he left? They were in the second division for both. Sri Lanka's impressive form over the last year is much more down to Jayawardene than Moody as shown by their performances prior under the Attapattu-Moody partnership. Anyway he's a cert to get the Aus job and that's the best (and easiest) coaching job in the world. ************************ I'd love Woolmer his track record with Warwickshire, South Africa and Pakistan is phenomenal. If not, Peter Moores. Title: Bob Woolmer Post by: larwood on Monday, January 29, 2007, 08:40:28 Moody has ruled himself out of the running for the Aussie job.
