A Swindon Town FC Fans Forum has today been confirmed for Thursday 8th February, in The Winners Lounge, commencing at 19:45.

Tickets are available from the STFC box office. Tickets will be made available to STFC Season Ticket holders on Monday 22nd January, then on general release from Thursday 25th January onwards.

how many tickets are there then? shame there has to be a limit of those who can attend but Health & Safety rules I guess ...

A good date that I can actually attend tho!! Shame they only give 3 weekdays to get the tickets on .. as I only get into town at weekends thats a pain in the arse ..

Did they ever rearrange the one that was cancelled a couple of times?

Tickets are free I believe like the last ones SONIC: Anyone who had tickets for the FF in May were admitted into the last one with Paul Sturrock. not sure how many tickets or who will be there. I know Paul Sturrock will be though.

Mike Bowden assured us that Diamandis will be there "illness allowing".  Guess he will have a sudden case of a bad cold.

would be nice to have confirmation of the clubs attendees.  there would be zero point in calling it if either Diamandis or a Wills isn't present.  Actually, both should be there.

If they don't then we end up with stupidity like Bowden stood up going "well, I can't speak for SSW".

Lets be honest, hardly any questions will be for Starnes, Holt, Gray and Carson.

Seems very far removed from the 'come and listen to Diamandis' meeting that Bowden was proposing.

Just the presence of Sturrock there puts a different light on the meeting.

There's more chance of the Pope being there than Diamandis being prepared to answer questions

 I've already said I shall boycott this on the basis that the Board are using Sturrock....which to me is wrong.

Its going to be pointless anyway they will check all questions before they are asked. They are intent on stopping free speach on this forum why would they allow it at thier own.

How can they check all questions yeovil? Unless they are mind readers, i cant see how they can stop anyone asking whatever they like.

They could make everybody submit questions in writing before it starts then call on people to ask them.

If there is no Wills or Diamandis then there will be no point people turning up....and how many questions will they say "We can't answer that at the moment" or how many times will they whisper to each other before giving a standard answer.

I expect Bob Holt to be wheeled out for this as well so he can do his bit to defend Diamandis who will be extremely ill and unable to attend that evening.

I for one, like Rob said would like the club to confirm the attendees a couple of days before the meeting so I can decide if relevant convesrations are going to take place or it will be annother Luggy's Fans Forum.

Whilst I have the upmost respect for the man and what he is achieving on the pitch, I have this niggle that this will become exactly the opposite of what Mr Bowden so publically offered last Saturday

Well, let's see shall we before we prejudge the likely attendees? I think it's safe to say that after categorically stating in an open meeting that all the board who weren't struck down with illness plus Diamandis (although Bowden did seem a little unsure as to whether "Mike Diomedes" as he insisted on calling him, was a director or not) and the Wills would attend, there would be considerable anger among fans if they then reneged on that. And people would perhaps draw their own conclusions about the willingness to answer questions etc. So until we know otherwise, I'd be inclined to take the initial offer at face value.

However, I am sure there will be many "out of towner's" planning to come to pose questions of the board.

It is only courteous of them to confirm board attendees to prevent any form of backlash from those that have travelled many many miles IMO

Scheduled for the morning before the Macc game, no mention of PS. Now look what we have !

Now I have got no problem with it (I did have when it was muted that PS would be attending and everyone, myself included, still thought that it was before the Macc game)

I just hope that the original remit stands and it does not turn into a Q & A session with PS.

My impression Fred was that it was going to be a meeting to discuss anything/everything except the proposed consortium takeover ...... and that Mike D would be there.  I have no problem with as many people from the Board/Management attending as possible.

nope, you get a fair few names at the AGM....but they dont answer anything....

I guess it would be a step in the right direction if all the proposed attendees actually do show then!

I for one will respect the request about no questions about the consortium, and that IMHO is quite right and proper.

But I do have questions that fall outside this framework that I would dearly like answers to.

I just want what is the right thing for the club done in the right fashion mate.

Both parties are talking and we should now take a step back and let them bloody get on with it, and trust them to do what is the best for the club.

My point is that I do not want people travelling miles expecting certain members of the board to be there, when clearly they are not.

That will point to only animosity and finger pointing.

STFC dont want that, PS dont want that, the Trust dont want that, and I, as a fan certainly dont.

We need to protect the process and not let anything unhinge it IMHO

Hmmmmmmmmmm          that has got me thinking mate...........

I wonder if it may be worthwhile as well for there to be a 'moderator' there, someone like Shaun Hodgetts so that when people are getting annoyed and angry and keep asking the same questions then he can move it along, whereas if Starnes tries to do this someone may end up getting very annoyed and taking it out on him.

It would be good to know attendees well in advance though even if they have to say TBC against certain people.

I wonder if they will invite Mark Devlin as technically he is still Chief Exec..assuming they haven't got rid of him yet, probably running scared from actually doing it

I have just had confirmation that the meeting has been moved to the 8th in order for as many STFC representatives to attend as possible.

I will receive confirmation of the attendees prior to the meeting date, so will let you all know, so that questions to the appropriate people can be structured.
