After the good performance at Palace, who should retain their place at the weekend ?Bearing in mind that Weston should be fit,Monkhouse may still be here and LJ has had a bit of a rest now.
I know there has been lots of 'talk' of this player coming and that player going, but it looks as though it will be the same bunch to choose from this week. :|

I'd keep it as per palace, but with Weston for Pook, if he's fit.  Although at home I could see a more definate 4-4-2 shpae being used, which obviously means either Lukas stays on teh bench or Sturrock would need to chose between Shakes and Roberts for the right wing, and on the evidence of Saturday I'd be sorry to see Shakes dropped.

agree on most of that  but surely you would drop brown put boob on the left and play timlin in the middle

Would also like the chance to see Sturrock junior sometime soon ... and not just for a few minutes at the end ...... always felt so far that if given a start (and full fitness), that he could also add something .. but god knows who drops out for him .. perhaps injury or suspension to someone will give him his chance

seeing as timlin's out, i'd stick zaaboub in the middle and put brown on the left.

Agree Macca, it seems like he is really torn between the two.  I am a bit worried though about 'experimenting' in a pretty vital league game.  Having seen Weston play he's a certain starter when fit, and him and Timlin in the middle is pretty exciting.

Yeah the problem with timlin suspended do you leave pook and weston together? with peacock and weston though they are both more inclined to get forward which worries me a little as you really need one of them to sit back and try and stop darren ferguson picking passes out

I know what you mean, like Sturrock has said he sees Timlin as an attacking mf, but the only one except Evans who is willng and/or capable of being more defensive. without him or evans we're always going to look a little lightweight.  Maybe zaboub could do a job there given his defensive pedigree as a left back.  Certainly last season CCP would have played there but Luggy has said (and I agree) that Charlie really isn't a midfielder, he just doesn't have enough quality.

if Peacock drops into midfield, who will score our goals?

i'd just bring weston in and leave the rest as it was.
i reckon thats what will happen too
