Title: On the comedy forum Post by: pumbaa on Monday, January 8, 2007, 15:36:41 A great post, that if posted on here, would surely have contributed to the 80% Bollocks quota. Total and utter shite.
You have to love the January transfer window rumour mill, its great entertainment. (PS: I'll happily rescind the statement if proven incorrect mind, although I think I'll manage to restrain from weeing myself like slack-bladder sonic) Title: On the comedy forum Post by: red macca on Monday, January 8, 2007, 15:43:48 Quote from: "Ben-STFC" The comedy forum is alot better than this forum. cuntAbout 20 posters blaming pook and vincent for everything. Title: On the comedy forum Post by: Lumps on Monday, January 8, 2007, 15:53:43 Actually the Coughlin rumour is doing the rounds up here, Radio Sheffield have quoted us as one of the clubs interested. He's followed Sturrock around a bit so you never know. Seemed to have a good game against Man City yesterday, but I'm going to find it hard to forgive him playing in some of the truly horrible games at the end of the (96/97?) season under McGit when on loan from Blackburn.
Terrible! Title: On the comedy forum Post by: Spud on Monday, January 8, 2007, 17:17:02 When Sturrock first took over the Plymouth fan at work said to me "i can see him going for Coughlan and Steve Adams!"

Pretty much the same I've been told from the Plymouth fans that have spoke to me... I tend to avoid them when I can if at all possible. Title: On the comedy forum Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, January 8, 2007, 18:02:19 would they actually sign though? probably wont want to drop to league 2 :-))(
Title: On the comedy forum Post by: Peter Venkman on Monday, January 8, 2007, 18:19:34 Coughlan was Sheff Weds player of the season last season and they would not part with him without us crossing thier palms with a large amount of silver, if indeed they would let him leave and/or he would be wlling to drop 2 divisions.
Steve Adams I can see coming even if it to gain his fitness levels on loan but do we really need another tough tackling midfielder? after all we got Evans when fit and Pook....oops strike that last remark off the record! Title: On the comedy forum Post by: Lumps on Monday, January 8, 2007, 19:09:59 Coughlan's been on the bench for the last 4/5 games before yesterday. He's now 32 and I don't know what his contract situation is, but he hasn't commended a fee since Blackburn bought im from Bray in Ireland in '98ish.
I wouldn't have thought he'd break the bank. I don't remember him being particularly bad when he was here or anything, it's just guilt be association to be honest. I've got this vague thing in the back of my mind that he replaced another Blackburn loanee CH, Marlon Broomes, who'd been brilliant, and perhaps by co-incidence the teams form nosedived at about that point. I do think he's a decent player. Title: On the comedy forum Post by: jayohaitchenn on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, 17:13:07 Marlon Broomes scored a half-way line cracker as i recall...
