They clearly had no reporter at the game did they. lazy fcuks.
Word of advice: don;t go and see night at the museum at the cinema! rubbish... Title: silly BBC fockers Post by: Fred Elliot on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 02:48:39 Juddie
Iusually agree with your comments BUT a & b I cant comment on because I didn't listen to the commentry Night at the Museum is basically a kids film I went to see it and thought it was ace :? Title: silly BBC fockers Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 02:57:43 Fred's a big kid really. Like Tom Hanks in BIG.
Title: silly BBC fockers Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 03:00:53 In fact I'm sure someone else made that comment a few days back....
Yes Spacey did http://www.thetownend.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16957&highlight=tom+hanks I better go to bed before I start asking people what type of cheese they prefer Title: silly BBC fockers Post by: pauld on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 03:20:34 I'm with Fred And Juddie in true fence-sitter stylee - I hurled things at the telly when MOTD talked about "Palace dominance" - hello? Which game? But have to weigh in with Fred on the whole Night at the Museum thing - took my nipper to see it this week, and we loved it. Which I guess means I'm also agreeing with SiPie and will also doubtless start Maverick off on a tiresome "the Trust board cannot be trusted as they like watching light comedies which also appeal to children" rant. Ho hum. Nonetheless, any film featuring dinosaurs and jackal-headed Egyptian god statues coming to life without making me crap my pants is boss; equally anyone who actually saw today's game and who can seriously talk about "Palace dominance" should have their eyes plucked out as they are clearly incapable of using them.
NB none of the above should in any way be construed as an official statement on behalf of the Trust board or be used as tenuous fuel for a tedious 25-page thread on the Adver forum Title: silly BBC fockers Post by: yeo on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 03:30:10 :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:
thats it! the trust boards support of this film is outragous. Perhaps we should say silly MOTD fockers - Ed from BBC Radio Swindon said we dominated, as does the match report on the BBC Sport website ... so they *did* have a reporter there - it's just MOTD didn't make use of them. Title: silly BBC fockers Post by: Maverick on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 12:03:39 As I said in the "highs and lows" thread ..... to be honest it did seem as though Palace always had another gear if they needed it ... but nevertheless as a result of that we looked good and could have at least nicked a draw, especially in the last few minutes .... MOTD were just plain wrong with their opinion (in my opinion of course!!) ... but when has that ever been unusual?!
