"the Arc nightclub in Brigton is undoubtedly the worst nightclub i have ever been to. After an hour visit on saturday, my wife (a petite 5'5") was thrown out of the club by 4 bouncers, each of them hurling racist and sexual abuse at her, WITHOUT her coat, bag, wallet, phone or any money for a taxi. It was close to freezing outside, and she was not permitted by the burly men to be allowed back in - where the remainder of us were, to even get a coat. When she asked if she would be able to just contact her husband (me) the barmen, on more than one occasion, told her she was 'too f**cking ugly to have a husband', and that she would have 'a f**cking long wait'. And the heinous crime committed by my wife to be treated in such a way by the Arc's doormen? She, like many female customers that evening, had used a cubicle in the gents to go to the toilet, as the ladies toilets were horrendously busy.
