Title: SAS Travel to Palace: Update Post by: sal66 on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 20:46:45 Message For People Travelling to Crystal Palace on SAS Travel
Due to the high number of people travelling on Saturday, we have a few requests which will make the day easier for us all. 1. Please arrive in plenty of time. We will be leaving at 10.30am and there are over 500 people to get boarded before we go. 2. On arrival, please head for Marc (who will be standing in the corner of the car park nearest to The County Ground Hotel), who will have a list of all travellers and will tell you which coach to get on. 3. Please sit in the allocated seats as advised by the coach steward. This will save any arguments over who sits where. 4. Please head straight back to the coach after the match as the Police will want us away as soon as possible. Many Thanks and have a great day. SAS Travel. I think Peter Thorne was our scorer that night? Bastard coach company turned up late though and we barely managed to get everyone into the ground in time (I got to my seat at kick off). Made a few quid on the ham rolls mind. Got to OT about 3pm. Went round the museum they have inside the stand which was quite impressive. was a fantastic day out. at least we had a goal to cheer :beers: What also topped it off was the fact we had to buy tickets to two other home games. We chose Man City & Huddersfield/Hertlepool (from memory. beat Man City 2.0 (with Horlock missing a pen too) and beat H 6.0 all in all a winner Title: SAS Travel to Palace: Update Post by: Batch on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 23:06:56 The six nil was 'uddersfield. I remeber thinking that we were on for a stone cast 0-0 then we score 4 before half time - Peter Thorne scored a few I think.

I was so close to turning about and twatting him one, not sure "Gordon" (presumably his dad) would have appreciated it though. Thankfully they fell asleep on the way home. Title: SAS Travel to Palace: Update Post by: blinkpip on Sunday, January 7, 2007, 16:53:40 On coach 2. Two lads had their larger taken away from them. That was why there was a delay leaving the ground. They manage to drink it on the way without getting noticed.
