Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: Frigby Daser on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 16:43:13 average player, no better, no worse - 2 good strikes though - the Barnet goal was a belter. Got to feel sorry for him - comes over from Oz, thinks he's got a break and relocates - 4 months down the line and he's back in limbo.
Good luck to him. Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: sonic youth on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 16:44:11 would have helped if he had been given the chance to play in his natural position, but oh well.
Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: land_of_bo on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 17:07:38 He will come back to haunt us!
Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: janaage on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 17:08:57 Why is he going to die???
Derek Acora and Yvette to the Arkells!! Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: DV on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 17:17:41 Brownlie or Roberts hmm....
Still think Royce showed showed he was decent enough when he played. Never a right winger but a cool head in front of goal. Should have bagged a couple at Carlise, but didnt....Sturrock didnt really want to know after that. Shame if Brownlie had been playing upfront all season he would have scored a couple that game. I'd perfer him to Roberts, most of the time! Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: janaage on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 17:21:36 Brownlie or Sturrock (jr) should perhaps be the question.

Good point its the old first impressions thing with Luggy....its the same principle I apply to shopping...if it looks OK and I can afford it, then it'll do...sod the shopping around caper. Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: hansgruber on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 19:41:20 Sturrock didn't like him. Even said he went on the Melbourne Roar forum and wasn't surprised to see their fans happy he left!

Title: Royce Brownlie Post by: DMR on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 01:38:54 Poor Royce, hasn't happened for him so good luck elsewhere. Agree with SY though, a winger he ain't. We'll always have Barnet and I think I actually enjoyed the goal at Wycombe more at the time.
