Title: Swindon Town - Wycombe
Post by: Bartek on Saturday, December 23, 2006, 17:17:00
God I know it's only a couple minutes after being defeated...but we must think about another game !!! Three days and Wycombe is coming . I looked at their squad...It will damm hard game for us .
The most important thing is to forget about Macclesfield....

At what time is the game ?

I'm guessing 15:00.....the most important thing is if the game gets played.....the weather is a bit  suspect at the moment.

We have to win . We can't lose any points if we want to fight about championship .

I think this is a very winnable game. They are high on confidence after recent results but know we are a good team. It could be hard for them to know how to approach the game.
From our perspective, we know we nearly beat them away and we know we have to put in a performance to make up for yesterday.

I'm predicting atleast a draw, if not a home win.

Note to Town fans - DO NOT start singing 'Mooney what's the score?' until we're at least 5-0 up.

Thankyou.

Just bought my seat in the TE online via Seatbooker (bloody useless thing - keeps going tits up/wrong).

I would say the attendance could be up near Rovers - from a Swindon perspective - TE, NW and Arkells look pretty damn full.

Boxing day is always good for attendances. Most of my family always go to footie on boxing day even though they're not 'proper' fans.

Do they still charge £2 for each ticket you book online?

Yep, £2.20.

Although I was happy to pay that as it was the last seat available anywhere near Gazza, Marc, Derby, Narbs and the rest of the L&P mob with season tickets.

Um, I'm around the 40s. Row L. You know who Rich is anyway. I might persuade him to spray his afro orange, but he's probably not crazy enough for that.

Boxing day is always good for attendances..

For some obscure reason, in recent seasons the bumper Boxing Day crowd thing seems to have tailed off at the CG.....so for example, last season we had 5500 for the win against ColU on the Boxing day but 5,700 for a dour scoreless draw the previous home game..

ofcourse the attendance won't be helped due to the fact we have 60 less seats now as well!
