Just finished watching Team America with the old dear. Was catching up on an uneventful night of posts on here, but it is Friday Villagio, so I'm guessing that would have something to do with it. Thought I'd have a look at some odds for things as well.

Morning.

Some people are probably too tired/drunk to read let alone post. Plus they're probably mastering the art of one handed browsing

What did your old dear think of Team America?

She thought it was good. Fuck yeah!
She like South Park and comedy like that so TA was a good one for her to watch.

I'm now looking at guitar tabs. My life is exciting. I might even go to bed soon  :|

I have an electric geetar, but it's gathering dust. I should either play it or sell it, but i can't be arsed to do either

A Yamaha Pacifica, almost identical to this one....

...except not such a shiny finish, but still with the wood effect.

How long have you (not) been playing for then? I've been 'playing' for almost a year now. Only just starting to get to a decent basic level. Although I can do barre chords now (yay) just switching to and from them is the hard part.

I bought it to play at Uni, a couple of years back, but drinking got in the way. My housemate was an ace guitar player, he taught me the basic chords and a few simple little tunes to play (RHCP - Otherside, Nirvana - Come As You Are) really basic stuff. When i realised it was going to take a fair bit of practice to be any good, i kind of lost interest

Yeah I know what you mean, practicing has taken priority over my studies of late and they're taking a hit as a result. Seriously though if you are considering selling I wouldn't mind buying it off you as I need something other than an acoustic to play.

I have no idea of the price of these things, so i'll have to get back to you. Obviously, i'll throw in guitar stand, 2 x guitar leads, spare strings, electronic tuner and amp. Think i have some snazzy picks lying around too 8)

Still not sure if I'm in town that weekend, if not I'll see if Rich will be around. Or do it at another game.

Hello Benjamin.

I'm going to go to bed now anyways and I better check Rich hasn't choked on his own vomit (he's been barfing for the last half an hour).

Village there's always msn or pms or whatever. But it's a deal.

On a scale of 1 to 83, how drunk are you?

Title: Loads of people
Post by: flammableBen on Saturday, December 9, 2006, 03:05:40
only about 15

maybe 20. Not that drunk at all, although By the time I left the Royal Oak I worked out I'd necked 6 kroney/ stellas in 2 hours.

by necking I mean drank

20 mins per pint, respectable. Thought your lack of recent drinking might catch up with you

I felt bloated by the last one. and to be fair it's binge drinking not proper drinking.

My lack of drinking has left me an empty hollow shell of my former self. In the short term anyway. Maybe if I keep it up I'll become some sort of superman. It's not really something I want to find out.

If you'd hung around you would have seen Rich's band and then him being a crazy drunken fool

At the Bury game my mates decided to get a drink in at half time. I got back from the pisser and they had two ciders waiting for me. A quick clock watch left me with just under 10 minutes to drink them. Needless to say I don't really remember the 2nd half that much
