Give me some opinions guys or if any of you have insight into the mad mind of the england selectors....help

Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Thursday, December 7, 2006, 17:59:56 i think Graham Thorpe made a decent point this week. why play Giles on his batting strengh when he hasn't batted that great and he hasn't bowled that well either? why not just play a batsman instead. there is the option of dropping Anderson for Mahmood who can bat a bit and can bat at 8. that leaves space for Monty then. i think Monty will play the next test. too much pressure on Fletcher to include him

Panesar got 1 wicket but apprently he bowled quite well and actually turned the ball unlike Giles
