Title: Board-time to go Post by: STFC Bart on Monday, December 4, 2006, 15:05:46 So SSW is not actively looking to sell the club? What a total fucking joke this lot are. At least twice in the past 3 months they have totally contradicted this statement by saying they would bite someones hand off who wanted to trake over. What have they to hide? What are they scared of being uncovered? Why will they not hand over to someone who can take us forward, when they have admitted publicly they do not even have the cash to fulfil our CVA commitments.
Was obvious all along that Power was ousted and not too ill to continue- this finally proves that they have lied to us all along. If they will not stand aside i think the time has come for some serious protests. Fan power along with Bill Power will get them out Title: Board-time to go Post by: stfctownenda on Monday, December 4, 2006, 15:12:14 Wonderful to see you Bart, the finish line is in the distance we will get there in the end. The boards days are numbered :beers:
Title: Board-time to go Post by: RobertT on Monday, December 4, 2006, 15:16:05 although it does concern me that Bart won't have any reason or direction left in his life once this all works out. I think we may need to begin a suicide watch.
Title: Board-time to go Post by: Piemonte on Monday, December 4, 2006, 15:20:36 I'm going to get in there before bart and start the "Power Out" campaign. The truth will come out eventually and all that
Title: Board-time to go Post by: Rich Pullen on Monday, December 4, 2006, 15:22:33 I think these coming weeks could well be Barts time to shine!
:D Title: Board-time to go Post by: Charlie Henry on Monday, December 4, 2006, 15:28:06 Would be interesting to see him sat on the board with SSW as the "fans Rep"

He was looking to sell when there wasn't a bidder (to get some interest), and now there is one he doesn't want to sell in order to drive the price up.
Title: Board-time to go Post by: STFC Village on Monday, December 4, 2006, 17:41:25 I think Bart should be fans representative on the board (if and when)
:D Title: Board-time to go Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, December 4, 2006, 18:12:13 Quote from: "hansgruber" Actually SSW's statement doesn't surprise me. Title: Board-time to go Post by: Frigby Daser on Monday, December 4, 2006, 19:07:53 Take the offer or lose the club, or at the very least, watch as budget cuts see us go Oxford's way. Then we'll come looking for them
Title: Board-time to go Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, December 4, 2006, 20:19:57 I think we should make an STFC board game. You can get a choice of characters and it would be like Cluedo.
"Who killed STFC football club?" "Was it Sandy Gray, with the VAT account, in the Winners Lounge?" My guess would be Diamandis, in Newbury, with the puppet strings. Title: Board-time to go Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, December 4, 2006, 20:54:47 Nah it wasn't him, too obvious.
I bet you're shit at cluedo as well. Title: Board-time to go Post by: Sussex on Monday, December 4, 2006, 21:00:16 Would 'The pilot, on a golf course, with a plane' be in bad taste?
Title: Board-time to go Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, December 4, 2006, 21:01:26 Probably.
Or Mark D with a contract - pretending we had money  Title: Board-time to go Post by: Samdy Gray on Monday, December 4, 2006, 21:01:30 Quote from: "simon pieman" Nah it wasn't him, too obvious. I bet you're shit at cluedo as well. Don't even know how to play it in all honesty :D |
