Not sure what the fans are expecting though, a man sprinting round every squared centrimetre of the pitch, scoring for fun.

This is div 4, and for div 4 he'd be an asset for any team.

fair enough we arnt going to get faultless players at this level or they wouldnt be playing for us.  But it would be nice to see Roberts challenge for a header every now and then - And thats what frustrates me -it would make him a better player.

Roberts does make me laugh when the balls played over the top, the defender rises like a salmon and he just does that "turns with his body" thing.  90% of the time the defender wins it, but when the balls played to feet and he runs at the defence he's quality.

Well, he's definately lazy, so i'll be voting that way, but if he keeps scoring goals i couldn't care less

Not answering the vote, because it doesnt really cover what I think of him. He may not work as hard as peacock, But he is scoring for fun at the moment. Similar sort of thing to Kris Boyd, who I used to not rate becuase of his work rate, but then, you cant argue if a striker is scoring goals. Matt Le Tissier was the same, wandered around the pitch the whole game wanting everyone to pass to him, but wasnt willing to work for the ball, but then would pop up with a gem of a goal (he is still a cunt though)

alot of roberts game depends on his speed,its no good running around like a dickhead then being too fucked to do anything.on saturday when he played the one two with zaboob it was his speed that made it possible to pick the return up,im not comparing players but henry does the same he will save his energy so in the 92nd minuite he can punish teams with his pace(well last year anyway)
