Trust STFC Will be holding a quiz night at the Dolphin Wednesday 29 November 2006 hosted by former Swindon Town player Phil King.

Start Time: 8pm

Location: Dolphin Public House, Rodbourne Road, Swindon

Cost: £10.00 per team (max 6 team members)

The L&P teams tend to be a bit on the drunken side, in fact we were already well on the go at the start of one of the recent quizzes and I managed to downgrade a local monument - Stonehedge - that was in the first round.

i think it's only right the tef field a team.

If there isn't a TEF team but people want to turn up as individuals, I think we've got a couple of spare places on the second Trust team or if there's enough of you, we can lump you all in an "Odds and sods" team.

I might do if other people are.

Thanks to everyone for showing up to last nights quiz night. Was a great night. I felt it went better than me and Phil had planned.

Some good prizes won including signed footballs, devere memberships, aaron browns match worn shirt, signed Don Rogers Prints, The l and p crew I beleive all won something on the raffle. There were some lucky tables although me and Charlie tried to keep the raffle fair.

I hope you all had a good night and we will sort out another quiz soon. I was talking to Charlie Henry and Phil King after the quiz and they both had a good time as well. Thanks again!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the organisers of last night, was a quality night.  I was part of Swindon Tartan Army team who finished a respectable third.  But it was good fun and more events should be organised like that.  Was even inspired by the loud and proud team to go home and watch 'dances with lambs' and 'silence of the wolfs'  :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:

Apologies for being unable to attend but I was busy on other business!

Top night, cheers to everyone who came. And especially Gazza for doing such a top job organising it, Phil King for being a brilliant and entertaining host, and Charlie Henry for, well, being Charlie Henry really.

But, bit disappointed with the raffle - every table won something (most won three or four things) apart from the Trust board. WTF?!? "We couldn't fix a raffle". Shocking state of affairs and clearly shows the Trust is not suitable to be involved in the running of the club.

We are indeed an inspiration to many. I will be taking a firmer control over the answer sheet in future though.  GOAT, for fucks sake Derby, what was he on.

We managed a respectable finish in the end though.

I'm glad everyone had fun. On the night we raised just under £700.00 (including the money that I will get Saturday) . Lets go for the big 1K next time!
