Title: Sturrock to scunthorpe? Post by: rockincockinrobin on Monday, November 6, 2006, 21:04:46 Someone on the thisis site reckons scunthorpe might make a late move for Sturrock now that Laws has gone to sheffield wednesday!!
Can't see it somehow though, i mean Sturrock/Summerfield/Blackley wouldn't have been scouting our future oponents on saturday if they were not coming here. Hopefully the Sturrock deal gets wrapped up asap, i wonder if he would do the dirty on us though if Scunthorpe offered him the job as they are 3rd in league one and doing well? The sooner he is appointed our new manager the better, maybe Sturrock will turn us down as the board are insisting that the sheffield wednesday clause is not in his contract and that he has to stay for 18 months. I would be gutted if Sturrock turned us down!!! Title: Sturrock to scunthorpe? Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, November 6, 2006, 21:06:57 your so depressing. he has said he would take the first job that has been offered to him if he feels it is right. he obviously feels it is right. i doubt Scunny will want a quick appoiintment. they might well take their time. god your so paranoid. its pretty much a done deal

Plus all the shit about the clause in his contract is just speculation after a bit of crap reporting by The People. Title: Sturrock to scunthorpe? Hate all that we're bigger than them bollocks. You're only as big as the division you're in. We are small fry, currently.
Title: Sturrock to scunthorpe? Post by: The_Plagiarist on Monday, November 6, 2006, 22:06:29 What a breath of fresh air!! The S****horpe chairman has stated on their web site that they received £100,000 compensation from Sheffield Wednesday for Brian Laws. A bit different from the cloak and dagger stuff we have to put up with. Oh, they have appointed a member of their backroom staff as manager for "continuity". They will review the position after a few games to see if it is working out!!
