Post by: Scot Munroe on Sunday, November 5, 2006, 17:47:38
Antics today were shocking. Take it like a man. You lost to WHU 1-0 from a great worked goal from Harewood. Also it was not a penalty. If i was pardew i would of smacked wenger.

Was a bit silly wasn't it.

It was a one off though, Wengers essentially a reasonable enough bloke. It's cunts like Mourhino who constantly do it who are worse

Bit out of order by Pardew, went over to gloat after the goal. Wenger should have planted one on him

I know i would have.

Ok there's nothing wrong with celebrating when your team scores but he went up to him to shake his hand after the goal had been scored, any other manager would have been fucked off with that.

what the fuck are you on about you silly silly bear?

as the motd2 team pointed out the ref wouldn't have seen the ball was touched by spector. hleb goes down like a complete pussy though.

i'd have given a pentalty and i'd have booked rooney and bowyer this weekend for diving

from my completely unbiased view ...

Definate penalty - Spector should have been sent off for his leg breaking tackle on V Persie earlier anyway

Foul on Flamini in lead up to the goal

Apparently Pardew went up to Wenger and said "that goal was MADE IN ENGLAND!" .. isnt that a racist comment? If so Pardew should be charged

Thats my completely unbiased take on things!

Fair play to Pardew, That goal was made in England and the premier league is all the better for it.

Erm, whether the ref guessed or not for the Pen, he somehow came to the right decision in not giving it. Spector played the ball. It's not that hard to understand.

Wenger acts like a child.  I didn't hear him complain the other year when Arsenal players whacked Ruud Van Nistelrooy when he missed his penalty.  So what if Pardew celebrated his team's goal, most of the rest of the country were happy with it too!!

Personally, even tho' Rob Styles is a complete tosser, it wasn't a pen, and no foul on Flamini. He went down like Deco !!

Wenger's done himself no favours in behaving like he did. Pardew apologised if it looked like he went over the top. Anyway, why does Wenger always sees fouls on his players, but when it's the other way round, he sees nothing.

The sight of of the highly educated wuss boy Wenger pushing Pardew and telling him to fuck off repeatedly had me in stiches. There should be more of this kind of thing

At the time, pre FA telling off, Wenger didn't seem to see anything wrong with his players actions/celebrations.  Football's all about swings and roundabouts what goes around comes around.  Idiots like Wenger should understand this, the sooner the better.

Same goes for Mourinho when he moans about Barca players diving.

So what the fuck is supposed to be racist about what Pardew said?

I say fair play to Pardew for celebrating, the goal may have just saved his job, of course he's going to be happy. Wenger's just a bad loser and he's a prick anyway, once again he makes himself look like a complete twat.

i'm never happy

i'd suggest etherington putting his leg in the way of flamini when he was trying to get back up was the foul. but fuck it, arsenal got punished and these things work themselves out over the season

Got a fine and a warning for the incident. What i thought was strange, is that the FA are going to "severely censure" Wenger. Does that mean his face gets pixelated out for interviews now? :?
