Entry to this is $200+$15, but i won entry through $10 satellite, with a $10 addon and a $10 rebuy so $30 in all. Played in a few 50k Guaranteed Tourns on pacific poker, and have always finished in money, but they pay out down to about 80th. Today's tourn only pays to 30th place, although it is $1.3k, so i'll just hang in there and hope for some nice cards. They keep changing the prize structure though, 1st now $52k and pays to 30th. Earlier it paid to 20th and 1st was $54k. Hope they keep allowing more money places. Title: I've just won entry into a $200k poker tourn!!!! Yeah, anyone can watch, just download software and reg as demo player then watch tables. I do have an embarassing player name though, i play as a woman so i get less respect. I got knocked out through bad play, not a bad beat so i deserved to go out. I managed to pull back a load of chips, i tripled up and then doubled up a few times. I then got dealt pocket Qs under the gun, i called the blinds hoping for a raise so i could reraise. 5 people in the pot when the flop came down, no raise. :( Flop was 669, rainbow. I bet out pot sized and got raised all in by the BB who checked to me... I thought about it for as long as possible, had him for the 6 then called... :? He was the big blind and held the rather predictable 6. What a dickhead! Oh well, my moment of glory passed with a valid lesson, go with your gut, not your greed.
